How to set a wallpaper on your Mac
The easy way: the Moireloop app
Pick a wallpaper in Moireloop and it's applied in one click, animated, on one or more displays. macOS can't set a video as your wallpaper (it only animates a few of Apple's own); Moireloop can, including your own videos.
With a downloaded image
- Download the image.
- In Finder, right-click the image, then choose “Set Desktop Picture”.
- Or open System Settings › Wallpaper › Add Photo.
